Record videos in a resolution of 640 x 480 to save some space. 

Taking videos with the stock camera app can often result in files that are quite large. Large file sizes may cause problems when trying to send in a text message or an email.

You may also find that uploading to social media or websites with a size limit can be an issue too.

If you do not need the highest quality possible for videos, then you may benefit from VidMaker. Instead of trying to figure out how to make your video size smaller, you can simply record it in a lower resolution.
