Indivious is an open source alternative frontend to YouTube. 

It provides lightweight webpage, native video player, free Picture in Picture mode support, subtitles and comments support. And no ads.

How to use this shortcut

From a YouTube video webpage

1. Tap Share button in Safari, then choose this shortcut "Redirect to Invidious". 

2. A notification let you confirm the redirection. 

3. It will bring a new tab, presents a list of Invidious instances. Choose one as you like.

4. Enjoy your video.

From a YouTube hyperlink / URL

1. Tap and hold (or 3D Touch ) the URL, until it shows the action menu.

2. Tap Share menu item to bring up the share sheet. Then choose this shortcut "Redirect to Invidious".

3. A notification let you confirm the redirection. 

4. It will bring a new tab, presents a list of Invidious instances. Choose one as you like.

5. Enjoy your video.

This should applies to all YouTube video links, including YouTube Recommendation and Following list. 

However, it may not work with some shared URLs on social platform, especially those been shorten by short URL services.
