*This shortcut uses the HDMI-CEC protocol to turn on the Apple TV via the local network.

You need to enter the IP of the Apple TV for this Shortcut to work, this can be found in the settings of the Apple TV:

Step One
Choose Settings from the Home screen.

Step Two
Select Network from the Settings menu.

Step Three
Under the Status section you will see your IP address. If you aren't already connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can connect to your network from the Wi-Fi menu.
